- "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And there came one of the seven
angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying
unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of
the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the
kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants
of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication"
(Revelation 17:5, 1 & 2).
-
- The Universal Harlot Church will not appear out of thin air,
as the plans for this organization are as old as the antediluvian
civilization itself. Tragically, many well-meaning, sincere
individuals are falling prey to the vast deception of Satan's
Universal Harlot Church. Also, many so-called Christian organizations
are becoming accomplices to the impending Universal Harlot Church.
A true Christian must and will study to become established in
Bible Doctrine (II Tim. 2:15).
DOCTRINE is the key to discernment and fighting deception.
Tragically, even the 'Evangelical Church' of today is subordinating
the teaching of doctrine to political and social issues, psychological
development, cultural crises, worship and praise, and practically
every other pseudo-spiritual 'ism' or study imaginable. This
has resulted in a generation of 'Church members' who have no
clue as to what they believe or how to recognize heresy, nor
do they desire to know.
Two very significant events in 1948 signaled the start of the
final countdown to the 'end of the age.' On May 14, 1948 the
political state of Israel was reborn. The second significant
event of 1948 was the formation of the World Council of Churches,
and Billy Graham was there giving his blessing. The WCC was
formed in Amsterdam with 147 protestant denominations (today
there are 307). The organization's goal was clearly stated at
its inaugural meeting (Aug. 1948) by General Secretary of the
WCC, W.A. Visser't Hooft:
-
- "
there can be and there is finally only one church
of Christ on earth
we are aware of the situation, that we
do not accept it passively, that we move forward towards the
manifestation of the ONE HOLY CHURCH."
-
- Lest anyone misunderstand, the true Universal Church certainly
does exist. This is the 'Body of Christ,' consisting of all
those who have been redeemed by the blood (death) of Christ Jesus.
However, the true Universal Church does not include every 'church
member' and/or religion. The true Universal Body of Christ does
not include those who have never experienced the new birth (John
3:3 & 5), and the baptism and permanent indwelling of the
Holy Spirit (I Cor. 12:13). The opposite view of the WCC has
been correctly conveyed by thousands, including David Cloud:
-
- "We could describe the error of the WCC under a number
of categories. We could speak of its doctrinal heresy, its modernism
universalism.
The simple fact is that the WCC fails every Biblical test which
could be applied. It is patently and grossly unscriptual."
-
- Did the Lord Jesus Christ ever advocate unity of the sects
and denominations (Sadducees, Pharisees & Herodians, etc.)
during His earthly ministry? Not only did He not unite with
those who twisted the Scriptures into false doctrine, He said
this to them, "Ye are of your father the devil"
(John 8:44); "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful
outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all
uncleanness" (Matt. 23:27); "Ye serpents, ye
generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell"
(Matt. 23:33)?

THE HARLOT MOTHER HAS MANY HARLOT DAUGHTERS
-
Though the Roman Catholic Church is not officially a member of
the WCC, the Vatican has worked very closely with the WCC since
the 'Ecumenical Movement,' which began in the 1950s with Billy
Graham's Ecumenical Crusades. The Universal Harlot Church has,
and has had, many tentacles. Besides those already mentioned,
also there is the National Council of Churches (NCC). Let's
not forget the now defunct Moral Majority, founded by Jerry 'Phony'
Falwell, which was ecumenical and political. Though his organization
failed, he still pounded away, trying to save America in the
flesh; politically. His efforts were just as unscriptual and
therefore futile as the Promise Keepers wanting to see the entire
world come to know God's love. Edward Panosian of Bob Jones
Univ. stated:
-
- "Rome's conception of the ecumenical movement is the
joining of all churches - eventually all religions - to Rome.
Rome does not join the WCC; she invites the WCC to join her
"
-
-
- President Bush invited Pope to the White House
-
-
"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine
of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ,
he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you,
and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house,
neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed
is partaker of his evil deeds" (II John 9-11).
In the March 1985 issue of Falwells Fundamentalist Journal,
Ed Dobson, then vice-president of student affairs at Liberty
Baptist College, made this amazing statement: Extremists
who declare that the Papacy is of anti-Christ ... are insensitive
to others and lack the love of Christ. If it is extremism
to declare the papacy anti-Christ, most Bible-believing preachers
through the centuries have been extremists!
- In the Fundamentalist Journal for December 1986, a photo
of Falwell shows him addressing the students at Notre Dame University,
a major Roman Catholic school. By the way, not only is Notre
Dame University a hotbed of Catholic dogma; it is a hotbed of
theological Modernism. The professors teach that the Bible is
a mixture of truth and myth, that Adam and Eve were not historic,
that the world evolved, that Jonah was not swallowed by a whale,
etc.
-
- The member churches of the WCC have fallen into an ever-deepening
chasm of doctrinal apostasy. They have turned their backs on
the fundamental doctrines of the faith. Many member churches
deny the Inerrancy of Scripture, the Virgin Birth, the Bodily
Resurrection and the Deity of Christ. Worst of all, they all
believe the great heresy that fallen man in Adam has a free will
to come to Christ. The Scripture plainly says otherwise:
-
- "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath
sent me draw him..."(John 6:44).
- 'But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit
of God: for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know
them, because they are spititually discerned" (I Cor.
2:14).
-
- The underlying heresy that is the springboard to all other
heresies, is the heresy that natural man has the ability and
will to come to Christ by his natural volition. When natural
men have been 'conned' into believing that he has come to Christ
by his natural faith, should he be expected to believe the Inerrancy
of Scripture, etc., etc.? The one common denominator of the
WCC 'churches' and likewise many Baptist 'churches' is that they
all believe the free-will heresy. Tragic!
-
- In addition to the Ecumenical Movement, another apostate
movement, the Charismatic Movement, has come. Most Charismatics
actively seek unity on the basis of supernatural manifestations
and supernatural personal experiences, at the expense of doctrinal
truth. They hold the position that differences in doctrine can
be overlooked 'as long as those with whom we seek unity confess
the name of Jesus and exhibit the gifts of the Spirit - in particular
- speaking in tongues.' Many Catholics claim to have spontaneously
received the 'gift of tongues' while praying to Mary. Many influential
Charismatic leaders embrace unity with Roman Catholics. This
includes such well-known men as Pat Robertson, Paul Crouch and
Oral Roberts. This scenario is the direct result of the call
for Charismatic Unity.
-
- Other common denominators of the Ecumenical and Charismatic
Movements are: 1) the forsaking of Biblical truth for the sake
of unity and 2) the influence of the Church of Rome. One needs
not to be a great historian to understand the desire of the Vatican
to garner ecclesiastical control of the entire planet. From
its earliest days, the intent of the Church of Rome has been
to 'establish the Kingdom of God on earth - under the headship
of the Pope.' Yet, many so-called 'Christian' leaders are busy
making their own overtures of unity. In May of 1994, the document,
'Evangelicals and Catholics Together' (ECT), was authored by
Charles Colson of Prison Fellowship and R.J. Neuhaus, a Catholic
priest. The document laid the groundwork for Evangelicals to
set aside their distinctive doctrines and unite with the Catholic
Church and other religions which are coming together. The ECT
document was also signed by such notable Evangelicals as Bill
Bright, Pat Robertson, and Mark Noll.
Other Evangelical endorsers include the heads of the Home Mission
Board (SBC) and Christian Life Commission, also of the Southern
Baptist Convention, the nation's largest denomination. Listed
below are some quotes from nationally known so-called Christians,
which expose them as false brethren:
-
- "I found that my beliefs are essentially the same
as those of Orthodox Roman Catholic." - Billy Graham
On Nov. 21, 1967, Billy Graham received an honorary degree from
Belmont Abbey College, a Catholic school in North Carolina. Upon
receiving the degree Billy said, "The gospel that
built this College and the gospel that brings me here tonight
is still the way to salvation." Note: Roman Catholics
have never preached salvation by grace through faith!!
-
- "We (Catholics and Evangelicals) have differences,
but on the ancient creeds and core beliefs of Christianity, we
stand together." - Charles Colson
-
- "I am eradicating the word 'protestant' from my
vocabulary
it's time for Catholics and non-Catholics to
come together as one." - Paul Crouch
-
- "In all Pope John Paul II's writings he has hundreds
and hundreds of Bible verses. If I dare to say there are less
than seven to ten thousand Bible verses in the new catechism,
backing everything they say, I would not be exaggerating. And
he makes a statement and backs it with the Word of God."
- Jack Van Impe - Editor's note: Pope John Paul II denied a literal
Hell's fire and a bodily resurrection. How did he back that
with the Word of God, Jack?
-
- Scripture demands separation from heretics, not unity!!
The Word of God says, "Now I beseech you, brethren, MARK
THEM which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine
which ye have learned; and AVOID THEM. For they that are such
serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by
good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple"
(Romans 16:17 & 18).
IDENTIFY THEM! AVOID THEM! THEY SERVE NOT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!
-
-
- In 1990, the Promise Keepers organization came into existence.
The seven promises of a Promise Keeper is for any male who wants
to know his Creator better, be closer to his wife and children,
tear down the walls of division, see the entire world come to
know God's love. Immediately, red flags should be raised concerning
'tear down the walls of division' and 'see the entire world come
to know God's love.' What are these walls of division? When
will 'the entire world come to know God's love?' Within these
two goals of Promise Keepers is a subtle lure to the Universal
Harlot Church. The entire world will never come to know God's
love; not even in the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ. There
exists a theological belief system among some Evangelicals &
Charismatics known as Dominion Theology. This system, led by
notable Charismatics Pat Robertson, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth
Hagin and others declares the earth will be ruled by or come
under the dominion of the Church. Sound familiar? Rome teaches
that too! The upper echelons of the PK organization are filled
with those from the largely Dominionist, Charismatic Vineyard
movement. A PK president Randy Phillips is a member of The Boulder,
CO Vineyard Fellowship. The pastor of this church, James Ryle,
is a PK Board of Directors member. Bill McCartney, the founder
of PK, is also a member of this fellowship.
-
- Promise One of the Promise Keepers refers to a man's relationship
with God. This chapter, written by Jack Hayford, speaks of this
relationship. Under the subtitle, 'Redeeming Worship,' Mr. Hayford
relates:
-
- "Redeeming worship centers on the Lord's Table.
Whether your tradition celebrates it as Communion, Eucharist,
the Mass, or the Lord's Supper, we are all called to this centerpiece
of Christian worship.
-
- This statement reveals the 'walls of division' that the Promise
Keepers want to tear down are the walls that separate the Church
of Rome and the Orthodox Church from the true Body of Christ.
The Eucharist and Mass are not equivalent to the Lord's Supper!!
The Catholic and Orthodox Churches teach that the bread and
wine literally become the body and blood of Christ via an act
of alchemy performed by the priest. This is called transubstantiation.
They also teach that this sacrament is efficacious in and of
itself, in that it forgives sin. The Lord's Supper forgives
no sin! It simply is a memorial service. Jesus said, "This
do in remembrance of me." Jesus warned, "Beware
of wolves in sheep's clothing." Jude instructs us to
"earnestly contend for the faith." Paul wrote,
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times
shall come" (within Christendom), "But evil
men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being
deceived. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power
thereof: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY. Ever learning, and NEVER ABLE
to come to the knowledge of the truth" (II Timothy 3:1,13,5
&7).
-
- Why are these evil men never able to come to the knowledge
of the truth? Because natural man is not able to come to Christ
by his own volition. See again I Cor. 2:14 and John 6:44 &
65. Jesus also said, "Except a man be born again, he CANNOT
SEE the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Why is unregenerate
(natural) man unable to SEE the kingdom of God? Because he is
spiritually dead. A spiritually dead man can neither see nor
hear spiritual things. Jesus repeatedly said,
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches." In order to hear what the Spirit
saith,
- Y E - M U S T - B E - B O R N - A G A I N!
