Why is it that happenings in the tiny country of Israel receive so much coverage by the United States' news media? Why is it that the U.S. government is so involved in Israel's political affairs? Learned Christians know that nothing has ever happened, nor will ever happen, contrary to God's sovereign decree:

"For I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all of my pleasure: . . . . . yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it" (Isaiah 46:9-11).

Therefore, we must conclude that God is bringing to pass His plan and on His timetable.

Everyone who knows anything about Bible prophecy knows that it is late in the day of the Gentile Church Age and the tribulation shadows are long. Of the many shadows that signal the soon-coming Rapture of the Church and the seven years of tribulation, there is one event that is a surer sign than all the others. Yes, there is an event that signals the first day of the 7-yr. tribulation. The Bible says:

"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease....." (Daniel 9:27).

He (a political leader) shall confirm the covenant with many for the entire seven yrs. prior to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ (Messiah). To learn more about the identity of this man who is to confirm (guarantee) Israel's covenant with many, let's go to Daniel 9:26. The Bible says:

"And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary......" (Daniel 9:26).

From the above, I call your attention to "the prince that shall come." It is "the prince that shall come" who will confirm Israel's covenant with many for seven yrs. Here God also reveals that "the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary." Notice please, it does not say that the coming prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. But rather, it says that "the PEOPLE of the prince that shall come" shall destroy Jerusalem and the Jewish temple. This was fulfilled in 70 A.D. by the Romans. Therefore, the antichrist is a Gentile of Roman descent. However, the Bible does not say the antichrist beast must come from the geographical area of the old Roman Empire!!!

Remember that the entire 70 weeks of years (490 yrs.) are decreed to Israel and the holy city of Jerusalem (Daniel 9:24). Therefore, the "covenant with many" is a covenant involving Israel and Jerusalem. The man who will confirm (not make) the covenant (treaty) is of the people who destroyed Jerusalem and the second temple in 70 A.D. (Daniel 9:26). The prince (political leader) is also called the antichrist, the beast, the little horn and the king of Babylon. The Gentile political leader who will guarantee Israel's treaty with many is of Roman ancestry.

It is commonly known that many, but not all, Europeans are of Roman descent. It was the English-European-Romans who first settled the East Coast of the U.S. The French-European-Romans settled Mid-America. The Southwest and California were settled by the Spanish-European-Romans. Also, some of North Africa was part of the Roman empire. Therefore, some African Americans are of Roman descent.

President Jefferson purchased the Louisiana Territory from France in 1803. President Polk obtained the Southwest and California as a result of the War with Mexico in 1848. Consequently, the vast majority of the Caucasian race in the U.S. are of Roman ancestry. Almost all the U.S. presidents have been Roman descendants. It is possible that President Obama is also of Roman descent. The Bible does not say that the antichrist is from the geographical area of the old Roman empire, but rather, as we have proven from Scripture, a president of the U.S. is likely Scripturally qualified to be the beast; the antichrist!

Many are looking for someone who is openly anti-Israel such as Adolph Hitler and Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The Bible does not teach that. In the book of Revelation, in chapter 17:3 & 7, we learn that the beast will unite with the MOTHER OF HARLOTS and her many harlot daughters, which make up the majority of organized Christendom. The antichrist professes to be pro-Christian and will guarantee (probably militarily) the soon-coming Israeli-Palestinian peace treaty.

Would Israel trust an openly avowed enemy to guarantee their national security? No. In the beginning the beast is cast as a peacemaker and a friend of Israel; Revelation 6:2. What superpower nation does Israel trust? What superpower country is primarily involved in Israel's peace process involving the status of Jerusalem? Please, dear reader, don't be deceived! Jesus said to the church:

"Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee" (Rev. 3:3).

In other words, if you do watch, I will not come on you as a thief, and you shall know what hour I will come upon you. WATCH for the Israeli peace treaty confirmation ceremony and KNOW when Christ Jesus is coming for His bride.

"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him (Rev. 13:4)?

The correct answers are….NOBODY! The beast is the king from the West. The kings from the North, South and East will oppose him in the last half of the tribulation in the war at Armageddon. Since World War I, the U.S. has been the superpower (king) of the West. Presently, the U.S. has the most powerful military in the history of the world and won't be conquered anytime soon.

"And all the world wondered after the beast," waving their red, white and blue star spangled banners all the way to hell. Again I say, Please don't be deceived! WATCH AND KNOW (Rev. 3:3)!

IS THE U.S. IN BIBLE PROPHECY?

In the book of Revelation, chapter 13, some details are given about the first beast, commonly known as the antichrist:

"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over ALL kindreds, and tongues, and NATIONS" (Rev.13:7).

It is an indisputable Biblical fact that the U.S. will be under the authority of the first beast as he will have authority over "ALL NATIONS." Yes, the U.S. is still A NATION. This means one of two things must happen; either the U.S. will produce the beast, or will be conquered by him. At this time the U.S. has the most powerful military in the history of the world. For the first time in its history, the U.S. has no formidable military foe. I repeat the Scripture:

"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him" (Rev. 13:4). NOBODY!

The generation that has seen the nation Israel established again in the Promised Land again on May 14, 1948 will not pass until "all these things be fulfilled" (Matthew 24:32-34). Yes, the U.S. is in Bible prophecy. Yes, the Rapture must occur immediately before the 7-yr. tribulation. Yes, the U.S. can produce the antichrist beast. Is he in the White House now? Time will tell! WATCH! President Bush introduced a "road map to Israeli peace." Obviously, U.S. presidents don't know there will be no peace in Israel until the Prince of Peace," the Lord Jesus Christ, returns to establish His kingdom on earth for 1,000 yrs.

God made a covenant with Abram (Abraham) which promises Abraham's descendants all the land from the Nile River in Egypt to the Euphrates River.
The Bible says:

"In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates" (Genesis 15:18).

COMING WORLD DOMINION

"And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues and nations" (Revelation 13:7).

The Gentile beast will confirm (guarantee) Israel's "covenant with many." This confirmation event will occur on the first day of the seven-year tribulation. This agreement is now in process. WATCH!

"If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee" (Revelation 3:3).

It is quite plausible the United States has elected its last president

Immediately prior to the first day of the tribulation and the covenant confirmation ceremony, something exciting is going to happen to the true believers in Christ Jesus:

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words" (I Thessalonians 4:16-18).
